Job Summary: A Respiratory Therapist specializing in both Pediatric and Neonatal intensive care is needed for an assignment at a medical campus located in Aurora, Colorado. This position involves providing respiratory care in a busy Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, with an emphasis on supporting critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/08/2026 and last for 13 weeks, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM, Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU experience, minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU experience, minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience, Certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and licensure verified prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU experience, minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU experience, minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience
Travel Requirement: Yes, travel is required within Denver Metro area within thirty-five (35) miles of the assigned facility
Float: Float rotation may be required to other areas within clinical competence across the network of care, including Anschutz and North or South facilities
Additional Information: Position requires working observed holidays if they occur within the contract period, including Thanksgiving (11/25, 11/26, 11/27). No requested time off approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests for influenza vaccination are permitted.
