Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position available in GRAND FORKS, North Dakota. This role involves performing patient evaluations, providing diagnostic and therapeutic treatment, and supporting patient and family education within a Level 2 Trauma Center. The therapist will be responsible for identifying significant changes in patient conditions and ensuring thorough documentation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 3x12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Respiratory Therapist certification from the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care, must have the same credential from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from authorized providers; minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; recent travel experience required, with a preference for candidates who have completed three assignments.
- Responsibilities include providing diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, assisting physicians, patient education, documenting all procedures accurately, and performing equipment maintenance and transport of infants.
- Certifications must be obtained prior to start date and verified through primary sources.
