Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal patients in a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 109 neonatal intensive care beds. The role includes evaluating patient conditions, implementing advanced respiratory modalities, monitoring outcomes, and educating families, with a focus on neonatal respiratory support.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) credential from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional Information: Provides evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, develops and monitors treatment plans, utilizes advanced equipment such as Servo N ventilator, Bunnell Jet Ventilator, 3100A Oscillator, Bubble CPAP, and Optiflow. Every third weekend commitment required, working in a specialized NICU setting.
