Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (if not certified, training provided on-site) Must-Have: Experience as a respiratory therapist in a hospital setting. NICU experience is a plus but not mandatory. Description: Candidates must have a valid state license. Experience working in a hospital setting is required. Willingness to learn about NICU is essential. Unit specifics include a total of 174 beds catering to acute care cases and offering services such as emergency care, intensive care, and inpatient beds. Available equipment includes Hamilton C-1 BiPAP, Airvo, and Avea Vents. Documentation is managed through Meditec. Staffing follows a self-scheduling model based on a four-week system. Every other weekend shift is required. Advanced skills required include performing ABG procedures as necessary. Work environment values new technology and equipment. Recent purchases include brand new BiPAPs and Aerogen equipment.
