Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RRT hospital experience License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Minimum 1 year current acute care RRT hospital experience - BLS, ACLS, and NRP required Description: This is a travel position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The role involves working the night shift on weekends. The unit consists of 350 beds and has 38 staff members. Staff on day shift includes 1 Charge and 5 staff members, while the night shift also includes 1 Charge and 5 staff members. Patient ratios are variable, depending on the unit's needs. Equipment used includes Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea. The electronic medical record (EMR) system in use is Meditech. Candidates with prior Meditech experience are preferred. PEDS, NICU, and PICU experience is also preferred. Typical procedures performed on the unit include ventilator management and airway management. The ideal candidate is energetic, team-oriented, and honest. Patient experience is a priority, and adherence to unit guidelines and policies is expected.
