Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RRT Certifications: CRT Must-Have: Critical care experience Description: No blocked scheduling. No holidays off. This position involves working with a team of respiratory therapists. The unit has a total of 444 beds. There are 8 core staff and 5 PRN staff members. The night shift consists of 3 respiratory therapists. Patient ratios are variable. Typical equipment includes ventilators, Bipaps, oxygen supply, and blood draw tools. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Ventilator operation and bronchoscopies are standard procedures performed. Candidates must be able to prioritize tasks and operate under stressful conditions. Preferred candidates will have experience in the emergency room. Unit guidelines and policies are standard for the scope of practice. Weekends are rotating. No on-call requirements. The position is open for 1 individual.
