Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,502 to $1,702 per week in Akron, OH

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Akron, OH where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board (Ohio).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• One year of experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience operating and maintaining mechanical ventilators, performing arterial puncture, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
• Ability to perform 12-lead EKGs, basic arrhythmia recognition, oximetry, and capnography monitoring according to policy.
• Experience assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and tracheostomy insertion/removal preferred.
• For hospitals with moderate complexity labs: familiarity with specimen handling, quality control, and basic lab phases is preferred.
