We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.


Minimum Requirements: 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
  • Current state license in good standing with the State License Board for Michigan.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  • Minimum one year clinical experience as an RRT, including experience with mechanical ventilation management and ventilator setup/self-test.
  • BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
  • Experience performing arterial puncture, oximetry and capnography monitoring, suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal), and tracheostomy care.
  • Proven ability to perform 12-Lead EKG, basic arrhythmia recognition, and pulmonary function testing (NIF, VC, etc.).
  • Demonstrated competency with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment and oxygen/aerosol delivery devices.
  • Experience assisting with bronchoscopic, chest tube and percutaneous trach procedures preferred.
  • Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS and ACLS guidelines and to document therapies and patient response in clinical records.
