Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,529 to $1,729 per week in Newark, OH

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Current RRT credential required by client.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation management, invasive and non-invasive ventilation required.
• Experience performing arterial blood gas collection and interpretation.
• Familiarity with capnography and oximetry monitoring required.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and endotracheal intubation preferred.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting required. Preference given to candidates with prior critical care or ICU experience.

• Must be able to perform duties including patient transport, ventilator set-up and monitoring, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, 12-lead EKG, pulmonary function testing, and assist with respiratory-related procedures.
• May be required to float to other hospital units as needed.
