Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: ICU experience NICU experience ED experience Ability to draw ABGs 2+ years of hospital experience Description: The position requires NICU experience. Respiratory Therapists provide exceptional patient care in a full-service hospital setting. This facility is dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care. Therapists will work as part of a team to ensure seamless transitions of care. Responsibilities include administering treatments, performing procedures, and monitoring patient response. Working with various age groups is essential. Strong customer service skills are necessary. Therapists will assist with intubations, nebulizer treatments, and other respiratory procedures. Proper attire, including black scrubs, is required. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance is essential while on duty. Written policies regarding attendance and conduct will be followed. Tattoos should be covered, and visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Therapists should have experience with specific equipment and procedures related to respiratory therapy.
