Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,666 to $1,866 per week in Rochelle Park, NJ

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Rochelle Park, NJ where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current New Jersey state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred; experience with mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gas sampling, and ventilator management required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilation, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator set-up and checks.
• Familiarity with oximetry and capnography monitoring, 12-lead EKG acquisition, and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Ability to perform arterial puncture and interpret results according to facility policy.
• Ability to assist with bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and emergent airway procedures.
• Documentation skills for respiratory care records and electronic charting systems.
• Preferred: prior experience in moderate complexity hospital labs and pulmonary function testing.
