Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: NC RRT License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years preferred, experience in emergency department, critical care preferred Description: Travelers must start on one of the following dates: August 17, August 31, September 14, September 28, October 12, October 26, November 9, November 16, December 7. Facility has 355 beds and offers a range of services including brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedic, general and vascular surgery, surgical weight loss, women's services, and NICU. The department profile includes a comprehensive respiratory therapy service with equipment such as ventilators, BiPAPs, CPAPs, high flow therapy devices, and blood gas analyzers. Supervision is provided by the Assistant Director of Respiratory, Sleep Lab, and Neurodiagnostics. The patient population includes all ages. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and independently. A minimum of an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care is required. Dress code requires solid color scrubs, preferably gray or black, with no prints. The position is a contractor replacement.
