Job Description
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across a variety of acute care settings.
- Perform respiratory assessments and administer prescribed respiratory therapies and treatments.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment, including oxygen delivery systems and ventilators.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical respiratory support when needed.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety guidelines.
