Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license must be in hand at time of start. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT). All certifications must be in hand at time of start. Must-Have: Must have recent critical care experience. RRT only. No CRT. Description: This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The shift schedule is 3x12 hour nights with holiday rotation. There is no on-call requirement. Every other weekend is required. The clinician must be able to float to all areas of the facility as necessary. Floating to sister facilities is not required. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. All national certifications must be current at the time of start. Recent critical care experience is mandatory. Local candidates will not be accepted. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval of time off will be based on facility needs. The facility allows for one shift to be canceled per two weeks. Candidates should be prepared for emergency response assignments during hurricane season. Laboratory requirements must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start date. All modules must be completed prior to the start date as well.
