Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist - NICU- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Manage ventilator settings, including high frequency oscillatory ventilation
- Administer surfactant treatments
- Perform blood gas acquisition and interpretation
- Administer Nitric Oxide therapy
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist - NICU- Level 3 NICU experience (consideration for Level 2 with 3-5 years of experience)
- NRP certification
- STABLE certification preferred
