Adult RRT Main Hospital Shift: Will work 3x12hrs nights 7P-730A with holidays as needed Is on-call REQ? No Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required Will this traveler float between service lines? Yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities: YES, may have to float to ART which is part of Charleston MUSC. Use the same equipment and policy s. Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year experience First-timers accepted: No Certifications/Licenses REQ: BLS, RRT Certifications/Licenses accepted: NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) Experience REQ: Adult critical care experience Types of Cases REQ: Hight acuity environment- Will need to be able to work in Adult ICU, Stepdown, and Floorcare EPIC and Cerner experience Preferred Radiation badge REQ: No Misc. Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted: RRT SC license must be in hand at time of start RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Caribbean blue Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only. One time $20 payment for parking pass. Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
