Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,752 per week in Pocatello, ID

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRPS Must-Have: - Adult and Pediatric experience - Endotracheal tube/suctioning - Extubation and intubation assistance - Oral airway placement and suctioning - Sputum specimen collection - Tracheostomy care and management - Aerosol setup and nebulizer management - BiPAP/CPAP management - Weaning from mechanical ventilation - ABG interpretation - Basic EKG Description: Respiratory Therapist needed for night shift. The facility is a 205-bed hospital and trauma center. There is a 20-bed ICU and a limited pediatric floor. The travel Respiratory Therapist will service Medical, Surgical, Rehab, Progressive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and limited pediatrics. There will be 4-6 Respiratory Therapists on staff every shift. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Documentation will be done using Epic. First-time travelers are accepted. Scrub color is olive green. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify. The traveler must have experience with adult critical care, aerosol setups, basic EKG, and BiPAP management among other skills. Interdisciplinary support includes teams such as IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and others. The facility serves a diverse patient age range, including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
