Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP, PALS Must-Have: 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. Description: Responsible for patient assessments. Develops care plans. Implements therapy plans. Evaluates and revises therapy plans as needed. Performs diagnostic testing including arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests (PFTs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry. Transports patients within the facility or between facilities. Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per facility policy. This role may require working flexible hours before and after standard shifts. Job duties may include working standard hours and overtime as needed.
