Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Experience: 2 years of RRT experience required. Adult critical care and ED experience required. License: RRT or CRT License Required. MD License Required in hand. Certifications: BLS Required. Must-Have: - 2 years of RRT experience required. - Adult critical care and ED experience required. - First-time travelers accepted. - Weekend Coverage: 4 weekend shifts per 6 weeks required. Description: Immediate start date for an 8-week contract. Candidates must hold an RRT or CRT license and an MD license. BLS certification is required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must possess skills in adult critical care procedures. Experience with aerosol setups, bag and mask ventilation, BiPAP, and CPAP is essential. Candidates should be proficient in drawing arterial blood gases and interpretation of ABGs. Oral airway placement and tracheostomy care/management skills are necessary. Candidates must be comfortable troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must be prepared for clinical review and complete compliance requirements upon acceptance.
