Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours varies Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 5 years License: Active state License required at submission Certifications: RRT, AHA ACLS, AHA BLS required Must-Have: - Minimum 5 years of experience - Active state License required - RRT certification - AHA ACLS certification - AHA BLS certification Description: Provide aerosol therapy and bronchial hygiene. Administer BiPAP and ventilatory support. Perform arterial blood gas analysis. Manage high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy. Conduct respiratory assessments and pulmonary education. Support patients with airway management and nitric oxide therapy. Work across general floors and ICU. Primarily care for adult patients. Schedule includes 4 or more respiratory therapists per shift. Scrub color is steel grey. Familiarity with equipment such as Servo I, S, U, V60, HT-70, ResMed, OptiFlow, Volara, and therapy vests is required. Expect to float as needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Holiday coverage includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday. Epic access is needed for documentation.
