Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RRT, licensed with the state Board for Respiratory Care Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: Adult Critical care experience. High volume busy emergency department with trauma experience. Description: Position available for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for all travelers during the flu season. The role requires working in a busy environment with a focus on respiratory patients throughout various areas of the facility. Responsibilities include providing care in units such as SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, and Trauma, managing adult patients with respiratory issues. Strong time management skills and the ability to support coworkers as needed are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with blood gas draws, processing, and interpretation. This position requires flexibility with weekend hours and call requirements. Pediatric patients will be stabilized and transported to other facilities as necessary.
