Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ year License: RRT, licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA; PALS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: Adult Critical care experience High volume busy emergency department experience with trauma Description: Flu vaccination exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1. Position is focused on respiratory therapy in various areas of a healthcare facility. Candidates should possess strong confidence and good time management skills. Willingness to assist coworkers as time allows is essential. Experience with blood gas draw, processing, and interpretation is preferred. Responsibilities include care for respiratory patients across multiple units. Familiarity with ventilators and high flow devices is necessary. Candidates should expect to work as required by the facility for weekends and call. This role provides an opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
