Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,832 to $2,032 per week in Boston, MA

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current MA Respiratory Care license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Five or more years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU settings.
• Experience participating on a Code Blue team and making ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results.
• Familiarity with lung protective ventilation strategies.
• Must have EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Preferred: NPS and/or ACCS certification.
• Preferred: Experience with Level III NICU and with Drager XL and V500 ventilators.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Shift Pattern: 36 hours per pay period, 3x12 schedule, every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).
• Shift Type: Nights (12-hour shifts).
• Required clinical competencies: ventilator management, critical care in MICU/SICU, participation on Code Blue team.
