Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,856 to $2,056 per week in Spartanburg, SC

Travel Respiratory Therapist is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in South Carolina. Shifts consist of 7-7. The Respiratory Therapist, under the guidance of the Manager, Department Director, and/or Medical Director, utilizes knowledge and skill at the advanced level to provide direct age-specific and culturally appropriate patient care in the unit and on transport through use of adequate ventilation and oxygenation by use of medical gases and breathing equipment. Employee performs moderate complexity testing to include blood gases, Hbg, electrolytes, glucose, bilirubin and Hct. Serves as clinical resource to new employees and preceptors, participates in patient and staff education. Job Requirements Requires two years of specialized training in an approved respiratory therapy program or its equivalent and be certified by the NBRC. Requires current South Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license (RCP). Requires current certification in BLS and NRP. PALS certification is desirable.
