Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: State License Required Certifications: BLS Required, RRT or CRT Accepted Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience: 2 Years - Patient Ratio Experience - Charting System Experience: Preferred - Cerner - Adult Critical Care Skills - Experience with High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Knowledge of Ventilator Management - Familiarity with Emergency Department protocols Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. This position requires working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. The candidate must have a state license and current BLS certification. A minimum of two years of experience in the field is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Every other weekend work is mandatory, but there is no call or float requirement. The role involves providing respiratory services, including ventilator management, high flow therapy, BiPAP, aerosol treatments, and chest physical therapy. The candidate should have experience with troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. Skills in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) and performing tracheostomy care/management are essential. Previous experience with specific equipment, such as Puritan Bennett, Draeger Servo, and other respiratory devices, is preferred.
