Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: State license required Certifications: RRT, BLS, CRT Must-Have: Experience in adult critical care and emergency department; ability in various respiratory procedures and equipment Description: RRT or CRT accepted. State license is required. BLS certification is required. Two years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend is required. No call or float requirement. Patient diagnoses include respiratory services such as ventilator management, high flow therapy, BiPAP, aerosol treatments, and chest physical therapy. Skills include troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and pulmonary function testing. Familiarity with special equipment is preferred. Experience with charting systems is a plus. Travel experience is preferred but not required. Two supervisor references are required.
