Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience License: RRT license in South Carolina must be active prior to start Certifications: NBRC RRT certification, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Adult critical care experience required Description: Position available for an adult RRT. Shifts will consist of 3 twelve-hour night shifts, requiring holiday and weekend work every other weekend. Floating is limited to adult populations within the facility with the same policies and equipment. Emergency team activation may be required as needed. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of critical care experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. Clienttion badge is not required. Open to accommodating block schedules, pending approval. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be subject to approval based on unit needs. Travelers should be aware of emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. During this period, new assignments should not be confirmed. Candidates should be prepared to complete any necessary labs and modules as part of the compliance process prior to the start date. This position involves working with a patient population that includes various critical care needs. The facility is a teaching hospital with a trauma level designation. Additional information regarding specific patient care and equipment may be provided during the interview process.
