Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,906 per week in New Orleans, LA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Description: Please ensure traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position, you accept the above expectations. You should report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above. Every other weekend coverage is required. The facility accepts first-time travelers but requires experienced Respiratory Therapists. New graduates will not be considered. References are not required for submission, but manager/supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start the contract. Allied candidates booked with a pending license must apply for licensure within 72 hours of signing. Candidates must have certifications in PDF format. Resources who previously worked as permanent staff must be separated for one full year before returning. Modules are billable and completed during orientation. Modules are recorded via the facility.
