Treats and educates all patient populations with diagnoses including but not limited to; asthma, COPD, emphysema, pneumonia, and non-pulmonary diagnoses. Performs both general and critical care to include but not limited to; medication delivery, bronchopulmonary hygiene and hyperinflation therapy, initiation, management, and weaning of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, airway management and suction, cuff and ETCO2 monitoring, intubation assist, extubation, and maintenance of indwelling lines. Responds to rapid responses and emergency codes, and performs CPR. Blood gas sampling and analysis, specimen collection and spontaneous breathing parameters.*preferred experience - Changing tubing and bags for invasive lines/arterial lines is RRT s responsibility on Toledo and Bay Park campuses.
