Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,930 per week in Covington, GA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: Ability to work in all critical care areas including NICU, adult ICU, emergency department, and basic floor therapy. Description: Candidates must be able to work in all critical care areas. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. No call duty is required. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be needed as necessary. The candidate will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit for the role. If the clinical review is passed and meets the guidelines, the candidate will be submitted for final decision. The maximum amount of requested time off is 7 days. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays arise within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of these holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance will result in a pushback of two weeks. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in community hospitals is required. Travel experience is necessary, and trauma level I or II experience is preferred. The position requires a variety of skills in adult critical care, pediatrics, and respiratory management. Candidates must be capable of performing various respiratory procedures and management tasks. The unit supports an interdisciplinary approach involving therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary. The daily census is approximately 85, with various patient age groups seen, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
