Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,948 per week in Avon, IN

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must have license in hand prior to start date Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted Holiday coverage and every other weekend required Required to rotate in various areas including Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med Surg unit, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Labor & Delivery, and NICU Description: This is a position for a Respiratory Therapist in a community-based facility. The candidate will assist with high-risk deliveries and work in the NICU. The role requires floating between adult acute care and the emergency room. The candidate will be required to provide care for pediatrics as applicable in the emergency room. The position requires working every other weekend and two of the three major holidays, as determined by leadership. The ideal candidate will possess experience in adult travel along with labor and delivery expertise. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT. All travelers must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. Floating is 100% required for all travelers. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and perform patient care such as extubation and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Team members will work with diverse patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be prepared to provide interdisciplinary support and manage various patient diagnoses. Experience in critical care, emergency department settings, and managing respiratory therapies is essential for this role.
