Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,948 per week in Avon, IN

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have valid state license prior to start date. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required. Experience in Labor and Delivery is a plus. Description: First-time travelers are accepted. The position requires working three shifts of 12 hours each, with holiday coverage and every other weekend required. Candidates will be required to float to various departments, including the Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med-Surg unit, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Labor and Delivery, and NICU. Assistance with pediatric care may be required in the Emergency Department. Candidates must be prepared to work two out of three holidays. The facility needs a traveler who can float between high-risk deliveries and NICU II, adult acute care, and emergency services. This position is not home-based and will require flexibility to meet the needs of the facility. Ideal candidates will have experience in adult care, as well as labor and delivery. Candidates must possess skills in adult critical care, assisting in high-risk deliveries, and various respiratory support modalities. Key skills include BiPAP, CPAP, extubation, high flow nasal cannula, and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Floating between various departments and potential affiliate facilities is mandatory. Candidates must have a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
