We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Templeton, CA, where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in good standing with California state board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential required. Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) acceptable as preferred alternative.
- At least 2 years of critical care respiratory experience, including experience in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) settings.
- Experience attending deliveries and setting up bubble CPAP (BCPAP).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required at time of hire or within 90 days.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire or within 90 days.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required at time of hire or within 90 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work independently and to supervise delegated staff when required.
- Experience completing electronic medical records, flow sheets, and departmental charge documentation.
- Preferred: Representation by SEIU is noted for this position.

- Shift schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 0600–1900 (days).
- Rotation includes weekends.
- Call requirement: rare, if any.
