We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Templeton, CA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license or state respiratory license in good standing.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted.
- Minimum 3 years of critical care respiratory experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in labor and delivery with Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) application and neonatal stabilization.
- Knowledge and experience setting up BCPAP interfaces and assisting with intubations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required at time of hire or within 90 days.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire or within 90 days.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required at time of hire or within 90 days.
- Ability to work independently and provide supervision to others as delegated.
- Experience with electronic medical records, documentation, flow sheets, and charge capture.
- Preferred: RRT (NBRC-RRT) credential.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Nights.
- Shift Details: Nights 1800–0700. 3 x 12-hour shifts.
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends.
- Scheduling: No block scheduling. Manager will schedule shifts as needed.
