Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Santa Rosa, CA 95405Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00), full-time. Weekend coverage required. 40 hours of orientation provided.
Highlights:- Work at a regional trauma center caring for diverse patient populations including adults, pediatrics, infants, adolescents, and geriatrics
- Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including Drager V800 Ventilators, V60 BiPap, Vapotherm, IPV and Cough Assist, and Ambu Bronch Scopes
- Operate under RCP protocols with autonomy to evaluate, assess, and treat patients requiring strong critical thinking skills
- 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
- Opportunity to work with a wide range of respiratory conditions including ARDS, pneumonia, bronchoscopy procedures, and critical care ventilation
Requirements:- Valid California RRT license in hand prior to submission
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Proficiency in adult critical care, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, arterial blood gas interpretation, and airway management
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Ability to float to affiliate facilities as needed
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
