The candidate will cover various units including ICU, ED, MS, and NICU if experienced. The facility operates as a Level II trauma center and has three ICUs. Staffing levels range from 7 to 10 RTs depending on patient census. Responsibilities include providing ventilator management and critical care support. Experience with advanced respiratory modalities such as BiPAP and high-flow nasal cannula is required. Duties involve interpretation of arterial blood gases, extubation, and tracheostomy care. Candidates should be proficient in troubleshooting mechanical ventilation equipment. Experience in a NICU setting is preferred for applicable candidates. This position may require floating based on facility needs. The candidate must be prepared to participate in interdisciplinary support and collaboration.
