Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1845 - 0715 every other weekend Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current License - Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan Certifications: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS Must-Have: - Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience - Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program Description: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for patients. Maintains clinical expertise in departmental assignments. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other employees regarding patient care needs. Adequately documents all aspects of patient care. Supervises, directs, and delegates tasks to other Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
