Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,002 per week in Southfield, MI

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 2+ years as a Respiratory Therapist License: Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Michigan Certifications: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, BLS certification from AHA Must-Have: - Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program - Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience - Current ARRT or NBRC registration Description: Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, delivers life support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Unit patients. Maintains clinical expertise for departmental assignments as assigned. Communicates effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs. Documents all aspects of patient care adequately. Supervises, directs, and delegates to Respiratory Therapists, orients externs and students, as assigned. Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience in neonatal intensive care is a plus but not required. Experience working in a Trauma Level 2 facility is a plus but not required.
