This role involves working in a robust respiratory services department, focusing on adult and neonatal/pediatric service lines. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Administer respiratory therapy to patients with cardiopulmonary issues
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, such as GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
- Assess and monitor patient responses to therapy
- Provide care in all critical care units and floors as needed
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- NRP (preferred)
