Key Responsibilities of the NICU Respiratory Therapist
Perform standard respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizers, CPT, and arterial blood gases
Manage ventilators and inhaled nitric oxide treatments
Assist in bronchoscopies and intubations
Provide respiratory support during transports within the hospital
Requirements of the NICU Respiratory Therapist
Adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting
Preferred adult critical care experience in ICU or ED
