Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases
Utilize advanced technologies and medication delivery systems
Offer coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Current experience in NICU/PICU
Previous experience with Meditech preferred
