Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT accepted) for a hospital night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Respiratory therapy department in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities as needed
• Assignment length of 13 weeks with options for 8 or 12 week durations

Requirements

• CRT or RRT credential accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• Ohio RRT license required if applicable, must be in hand
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from assignments worked in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Facility is a smoke-free and nicotine-free workplace with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Background check results reviewed by facility; license-related issues are not accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signing contract due to time sensitivity
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is typically required unless deferred by the facility on a case-by-case basis
• All time-off requests must be communicated during the interview and submission process
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
