Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required. Block scheduling applies. 48-hour shifts approved when applicable.

Highlights:

• 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation
• Comprehensive respiratory care including floor care, emergency department, code response, and rapid response
• Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with patient ratios of 1:11
• Epic charting system with 36-40 hours of paid orientation
• Floating between units required; no on-call responsibilities
• Free parking provided

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; at least 1 year required for consideration
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, aerosol therapy, airway management, and ABG interpretation
• Emergency department and pediatric experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
