Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience required. License: Valid Washington state license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Charting system experience in Epic. - Experience with arterial punctures. - Familiarity with family maternity and OB experience, including C-Sections. Description: This position involves providing respiratory care to patients. The role requires floating between units outside of direct assignments. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Block scheduling is mandatory. The expected patient ratio is 3 to 1. There is a total of 40 orientation hours for this role. Key responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries and administering medications. Skills required include managing ventilation support, performing arterial blood gas draws, and conducting respiratory therapy procedures. The candidate must possess knowledge of various respiratory equipment and therapies. The team will provide interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services. This role will involve care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Preferred candidates should have experience with all age groups. Special procedures required for this position include administering medications and performing arterial punctures. Specific equipment familiarity is also necessary.
