Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an RRT License: Active license to practice Certifications: BLS, NBRC Must-Have: - Must have adult critical care experience - Recent experience in the last 12 months - Life support certifications from accredited organizations - No hits on state license to practice - Candidate's driver's license to verify residency Description: This position requires green scrubs. The facility is a Level I Trauma center with over 600 beds. Adult Critical Care experience is required, with PICU/NICU experience preferred but not required. May require floating to a Level III trauma facility nearby as needed. Candidates must have 2 years of recent experience as an RRT and previous travel experience. Candidates residing in the state are not eligible for assignments. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments is essential for prompt securing of an offer. Candidates must be able to start on the specified start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off must not exceed 7 days and cannot be during the first week of assignment. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment. Please inform immediately if the candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Compliance with all background check standards is required. A complete cover page and resume outlining all relevant experience is mandatory. An RRT skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months. Active BLS and NBRC certifications are required.
