Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,095 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Registered Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in one location. 1 to 2 years of experience working as a traveler. Must have ventilation experience in an acute care setting. License: Active Respiratory Therapist License. Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist. BLS Certification. Must-Have: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy. Ability to draw arterial blood gases. Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist position available for 36 hours. The position requires working nights and every other weekend. The facility has 371 licensed beds, including Medical/Surgical beds and an Intensive Care Unit, among other departments. The clinician to patient ratio is 5 Respiratory Therapists during the Day shift, 5 on Evenings, and 4 on Nights. During the Day shift, there is 1 in charge, 2 assigned to the 20-bed ICU, and 2 assigned to Medical/Surgical floors. The primary equipment used includes the PB980 Ventilator and the Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator. Day position may rotate to an 11 AM to 11 PM schedule when needed. The Night position is straight nights.
