Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years minimum License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP preferred Must-Have: Adult Critical Care experience ER experience NICU experience preferred Description: The Respiratory Therapist will work three 12-hour night shifts. This position requires floating between like units. Weekend coverage is required. The traveler may be called off for one shift per two-week period. Experience in adult critical care is essential. Charting system experience with Epic is required. Candidates should have experience with various respiratory therapies and procedures. Ability to work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Travelers are expected to float regularly within skill set. The role involves performing assessments and managing respiratory care for patients. Providers will be required to demonstrate proficiency in high-pressure situations. Good communication skills and teamwork are essential for this role. The position may involve assisting in high-risk deliveries and emergency interventions. The ability to interpret arterial blood gases is necessary. The candidate should be adept at troubleshooting and managing respiratory equipment. Willingness to commit to working during designated holidays is required.
