Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,100 per week in Spokane, WA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid Washington state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Experience with aerosol setup and management - Proficient in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) - Skilled in tracheostomy care and management - Familiar with rapid response and code situations Description: The Respiratory Therapist will provide care for patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position will involve floating between units as needed. Weekends will be required on an every-other-weekend basis. The therapist will be responsible for emergency department support and must be prepared for high-acuity situations. The therapist will utilize a variety of equipment and medications, including BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulized therapies. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role. Additionally, the therapist will be involved in pulmonary hygiene and patient education. Candidates should be comfortable with the demands of a fast-paced environment and be able to respond effectively to emergencies. The position requires adherence to established policies and protocols for patient care. References will be required prior to start. This role may require flexibility in schedule and patient assignments based on clinical needs.
