Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,107 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred License: Active state license required prior to submission Certifications: - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred - ACLS - BLS - CRT - HS and College diplomas/transcripts required Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred Description: Weekends required. Three 12-hour shifts during night shift. Floating between campuses may be required. Patient ratio not applicable. Experience with GE Ventilators required. Skills in adult critical care are essential. Proficient in aerosol setup and management. Knowledge of medication administration including Albuterol and CPAP is necessary. Ability to interpret arterial blood gases is required. Experience with tracheostomy care and management is essential. Candidates should demonstrate competency in weaning from mechanical ventilation. Strong troubleshooting skills for high-pressure alarms are necessary. Must have interdisciplinary support experience. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of patient diagnoses such as COPD, asthma, and cancer. Experience in med/surg floors and PCU is preferred. Flexibility with scheduling and patient management is expected. Compliance with credentialing and fingerprinting processes is required. Two professional references are necessary, including one from a manager or director. Candidates must not have been employed in the last six months at the facility to be eligible for a travel assignment.
