Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred ACLS BLS CRT (if applicable) Must-Have: High School Diploma and College Diploma and/or transcripts required Previous travel experience preferred Description: Weekends required for three 12-hour night shifts. Floating between campuses may be required. Patient ratio is not applicable. Experience with GE Ventilators is preferred. Essential skills include adult critical care, aerosol setup, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Experience in extubation, pulmonary hygiene, and tracheostomy care is necessary. Must be able to troubleshoot high pressure alarms and wean patients from mechanical ventilation. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative during the credentialing process. Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or direct supervisor. Candidates must complete background checks as part of the hiring process. Previous employment with the organization disqualifies candidates unless they have been away for six months or more.
